INTRODUCTION :: ANURADHA KOIRALA
A woman of determination and purpose, a role model we’ve all looked up to, Anuradha Koirala, needs no introduction, especially to all people related to Social Work. Bestowed with the prestigious CNN HERO award in 2010 for her exceptional contribution to Nepal’s social work field, Anuradha koirala has also served and provided guardianship to Bagmati province as the province head. She is founding president of Maiti Nepal, a brand in itself, an organization which has been relentlessly working against girl trafficking issue of Nepal. Her organization specializes in helping the trafficked girls, providing them with protection, employment as well as rehabilitation as per their need. Social work day 2021 program organizing committee as well as Department of Social Work, TU is honored to have Anuradha Koirala as the Chief Guest to our program on 16th March.
