In order to join Master of Social work, the applicant must have a Bachelor’s Degree of a minimum of 3 years from a recognized university in the same faculty, with minimum of second division. The applicant’s will be finalized based in the performance given by him/her on different field like Bachelor’s mark, entrance test, Interview. The applicant must submit the application along with their transcripts on the given time. Application after the deadline will not be accepted.




Masters in Social Work (MSW) Programme


Master in Social Work (MSW) Programme under the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at Tribhuvan University calls applications for enrollment to The MSW programme for the academic year 2018-2020.

The program offers both theoretical and practical knowledge and skills on SOCIAL WORK. The entire courses are highly participatory and students are expected to be actively engaged in presentation, participation in discussion and interaction in the class room activities, periodic seminars, workshops and fieldwork.

Eligibility: Completion of Bachelor’s Degree with at least second division or 2.0 CGPA in any discipline recognized by Tribhuvan University. Securing an acceptable level or ranking in the entrance exam will be required to get admission. The entrance exam will test the prospective students’ language proficiency, presentation, interaction and analytical abilities.
